Agnieszka is a proud mum of two boys and two girls and has been involved in the Polish community in Melbourne through the extra-curricular activities of her children. She is a small business owner and has had a varied professional life. Her experience working with senior and vulnerable people has shaped the holistic, client-centred approach she incorporates into her work. She brings compassion and warmth to her role as interpreter and enjoys dealing with people from all walks of life. Agnieszka is also a great cook, a keen traveller, and has slowly been ticking off countries from her bucket list.


Katarzyna graduated from Department of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan, Poland. She has been living and working in Melbourne for last 10 years. Katarzyna has been employed in various administration and sales roles in corporate environment. She enjoys  helping people. She has been engaged in volunteering work for Polish Festival @ Federation Square. Katarzyna is a Professional Polish-English  interpreter and she has been enjoying  interpreting especially for legal and medical matters. She is committed to excel  and improve her skills. She likes water sports and sailing which has been her hobby for many years.


Tatiana is a passionate educator, blogger, wife and mother, in the sequence depending on the day. She decided to work as an interpreter because as she likes to say”only working with people, makes sense”.


An appreciation for foreign languages and a recognition of the need for qualified interpreters in Australia led Adrianato RMIT, where she studied Advanced Diploma of Interpreting. Adriana is a recipient of Dr Sedat Mulayim Award for Excellence in Interpreting Studies. She is committed to interpreting work as it presents an opportunity to connect with the Polish community in Melbourne and provide assistance to those facing language barriers. Adriana holds an MA in Culture of the Middle and Far East from Jagiellonian University and an MA in Foreign Trade from Economic University in Krakow, Poland. Currently, she is studying towards a CPA qualification. Adriana has around 7 years of corporate experience in various areas, including procurement, finance, accounting and taxation. Adriana’s interests include intercultural dialogue, foreign affairs, international development and renewable energy. When not absorbed by language studies, she enjoys visiting art galleries, hiking and practicing meditation.


Magdalena came to Melbourne from Warsaw as an adolescent. She graduated from Melbourne University and then worked for many years as a scientist in Switzerland. She has travelled extensively and finally returned to Melbourne in 2009. She now works as a Polish-English interpreter with a strength and special interest in medical interpreting. Magda also speaks German and Italian, loves Vanuatu, strong coffee and good design.


Lucy graduated from University of Silesia in 2003 and came to Australia shortly after. With her background in tertiary education, she specialises in teaching English as a second language and university preparatory courses. She has also Diploma in Events Management and loves organising events for Polish community in Melbourne. Lucy is known for her passion for Polish culture and language as well as her helping hand whenever it is needed. She is interested in legal and migration matters but she is also experienced in community work and social work. Her hobbies include dance, photography, literature and cooking.
